The Central Coast Baseball Association is proudly represented on Australian baseball’s biggest junior stage, with an outstanding group of players and staff heading to Melbourne for the Australian Youth Championships.
Taking place across multiple venues in Melbourne, the Championships are the pinnacle of junior baseball in Australia, bringing together the nation’s most talented young athletes to compete, perform, and prove themselves at the highest level.

Leading the Charge: Central Coast Strength in the U18s
The Under 18 NSW Country squad will feature a strong Central Coast presence, with five CCBA athletes earning selection after standout seasons:

Hamish Phelps
Aaron Peachy
Wil Klien-Schiphorst
Nash McBeath
Adding to the Coast’s influence, the U18 program is also backed by local leadership off the field. Rowan Street joins the squad as Assistant Coach, alongside Executive Officer Adam Murphy, ensuring Central Coast experience and culture are embedded throughout the campaign.
With the standard set sky-high following a fiercely contested 2025 tournament, this group enters ready to challenge the best youth teams in the country.

The future of Central Coast baseball is on full display in the Under 16 division, where Brock Moore and Riley Coombes have been selected for the NSW Country U16 team.
The U16 Championships are renowned for their intensity, pace, and elite competition, an environment where young players are tested both mentally and physically. For Brock and Riley, it’s an exciting opportunity to measure themselves against Australia’s best and announce themselves on the national stage.
